We tried to enter but the very narrow paved driveway was blocked by a utility vehicle. Despite waiting patiently for several minutes (hoping someone would assist us), we were left totally ignored & drove away - disappointed. Access is very poor & car parking??? Awful!NOTE: The owner's unprofessional and insulting response to this criticism (see below) speaks wonders as to their character as "hosts". Rather than take criticism on the chin, and do something to rectify the inadequacies of their establishment; they delve into the blackened world of immature, myopic personal insult. Charming! Indeed!If I could deduct another 0.5 of a star - I would!BEWARE going to this place! You have been warned!
The place is lovely, Im really impressed with the designs and the decorations inside, very unique that you can rarely find anywhere else, like an escape from the city.Pat and Gary are so friendly and welcoming, love their cookings as well :)The rooms are great with the veranda looking over the garden full of flowers and a very good view of the mountains.I love the Tynwald park in front of the hotel too...We will definitely come back here again!
